The Centre follows the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) and its activities closely. The Centre’s key personnel do not just attend the Congress meetings (dating back to 2006 18th IDF Congress in South Africa- Cape Town), to update their knowledge and network with other like-minded organizations, its Abstracts, listed below were accepted for presentation at a couple of the Congress’ meetings:

Capacity Building
Through its programed Update Courses on Diabetes for Primary Healthcare Workers, TDC, in conjunction with the Ogun State Local Government Service Commission has been gradually building the capacity of the State’s Primary Healthcare Workers for enhanced care to individuals living with diabetes in their communities. To consolidate the gains of this program, TDC applied for and got a World Diabetes Foundation (WDF)www.worlddiabetesfoundation.org co-funding grant (Read More) to undertake a 2-year project, (2016 to 2018) titled:  Enhancing Diabetes Education and Care in Ogun State-WDF15-1257, in collaboration with the Ogun State Local Government Service Commission.  Read More
