Interest in and celebration of World Diabetes Day (WDD)

Since its inception in 2005, the Centre, in collaboration with the Ogun State Chapter of Diabetes Association of Nigeria, has been a keen participant of World Diabetes Day’s annual celebrations.Efforts are always made to include school pupils, market men/ women and the communities in the Center’s programs and activities which are tailored in line with WDD’s theme for each year. Tertiary, medical as well as nursing/midwifery students are also invited to participate in these events.
