My name is Olumuyiwa Talabi, a Nigerian and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. I am was first diagnosed with diabetes by chance some 30 years ago – not in Nigeria but in faraway India. Unfortunately, I have lost three dear family members (my dad and two younger siblings) to diabetes, whilst a couple more are learning to manage and live with it.  Fortunately for me and with God's grace, I've been able to manage my condition through proper dieting, exercising and medication. Living with diabetes is certainly not a death sentence.

Over this years, I've made it my lifelong mission to study as much as I can on diabetes. With my first hand experience as well as my exposure, I believe that, as much as possible, I must help others avoid the painful and expensive experiences that I went through. Fortunately, my family shares my vision and are fully supportive of the Center and I ask you too to join us in our vision.
